Ahead of the 2019 general elections, Twitter has suspended the accounts of many Nigerian influencers.
The affected influencers include; Badmus
Hakeem (@Bhadoosky), Jokunle (@Jokunle), Lazy Writa (@LazyWrita),
Rouvafe (@Rouvafe), Abdulaxis (@iam_abdulaxis), Switchme, Enekem Greg,
Ani Nomso (@ani_nomso), Shawnife (@Shawnife_), Official Bmax
(@OfficialBmax), Uche Kush (@UcheKush_)
According to reports, Twitter is working
together with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to
ensure that news and reports about the elections are verified
information from legitimate sources.
So remember to be careful what you post on social media during this election period.
