A Nigerian soldier Ogabor George died on Saturday, February 16, barely two months after his wedding in Cross River State.

Below is a post shared by his friend on Facebook.

"Death why?

Ogar George (Bishop Agaskpa) why leaving us so soon? Just barely two months precisely on the 21st & 22nd of December that I travelled a distance of hours to dance and celebrate with you on your traditional marriage and white wedding at Okpoma and Okuku, Yala LGA. Guy you didn't tell me it was our last meeting oh! You were the very first person that sent me a Valentine's message. An intimate friend's we've been right from Secondary School days.  Since last night that I heard of the sad news, I am yet to believe it. I have being dialling your line consecutively just to hear you say Mike Moo it's a lie; I am alive but your line is not connecting. Bishop, is it true that you are dead? George please call my line. You called me on Monday to know how I am faring, and I told you I am okay, and you encouraged me to continue to be focused. Guy, why leaving your wife so soon? Why leaving your mom behind? You didn't tell me you were sick, death why? Why must you take our friend from us? Theophilus Odey Blaise Oscar Mohie Willy Loco Egbaji Godwin Edmond Richy Edu Patience Eneji JohnJohn Ivara IJ have you guys heard that Bishop is dead? What a great loss to Old boys of Government Technical College Ogoja, what a loss to Nigerian Army!
Rest in peace my gallant officer.
